Entrance From the Mall Corridor
Our entrance is next to the fountain under one of the mall cupolas which delivers lots of natural light into our reception and lobby. Our foyer is a tempered glass vestibule which serves as an "air lock" to prevent any kitties from going on adventures in the mall.
Reception & Lobby
Our reception and lobby are open into the mall corridor through floor-to-ceiling windows. Our lobby side has seating, merchandise, and large cat trees where cats love to hang out and watch people outside their windows. Our reception also has merchandise and comfy places for kitties to hang out, especially in their window perches. The transom over the door has a message from the cats for their visitors. The image on the left side of the transom is changed as appropriate for the season or the holiday.

Common Room
Our Common Room is a large open space that leads to our other rooms. It's a charming, whimsical space with seating, fun colors, cat trees, walkabouts, merchandise, and lots of room for kitties to run and play. Our handwashing station is in the Common Room.
Godswood
Our Godswood was inspired by the Godswood of Winterfell in Games of Thrones. It is one of our most popular rooms with its custom Weirwood tree, forest that embraces you, and a small pound. A large mirror on one wall adds another dimension to the experience of being in the Godswood. This is one room where we introduce older adult cats into our space because it is medium light and low energy. They seem to adjust better when placed into this room first. We know they've fully adjusted when they decide to leave the room and explore.
Graffiti Room
The Graffiti Room gets its name from the colorful mural on one of the walls. We use this room to house cats who don't do well with lots of activity and open space around them. It has little cubbies and nooks where they can hide and peek out. We installed a glass insert into the door so people could see what's going on in there, but the window has a venetian blind between two panes of glass in case the room needs some privacy. Visitors may visit the cats who reside in the room, but the door will always be closed. The room gives the most shy cats an opportunity to gain confidence and engage with their visitors.
Dragonstone
Dragonstone is a total immersion experience into a gothic setting and it takes only a moment to fall into the sensation that you're surrounded by stone walls, cathedral windows, medieval furniture, and flickering candles under a black netting ceiling. This is a low light room with a motion sensor to activate a nebulous color cloud projector into one of the corners. And there be dragons!
Tropical Paradise
Just outside the Tropical Paradise is the large fountain in the mall corridor, and the sounds of water make their way into this room through the large frosted glass windows. This room is another favorite for our visitors. It's light and bright and airy, and the cats like to climb the stepped window ledges. It has a beach on one end and a rain forest on the other, with a small water fountain to add to the ambience.

Private Suites
Within one of our unused rooms, we created two spaces for cats who require special diets, or if they see another cat, their day is ruined. We call these spaces "suites" and each contains a chair for visitors, furniture for the cat, bedding, and a litter cabinet for the box and supplies. Each suite has a window and a door into the room, which has a sink to make tending to the cats easy. These little suites have been wonderful because people get to know these quirky cats and accept them for who they are.
